Could you describe the kit(s) you started with? I think the gun is from a T-34 but don't know squat about the rest.

DML's T34/85 supplied the hull, with one set of wheels cut out, the commanders cupola and the gun barrel. Sheet plastic to smooth out the front and side armor. Squared exhaust from a late Panther and side skirts from the E-10. The main gun mantle is from a M1A1.

The wheels are from the T-34/85 kit.

The basic story is that when the Russians captured an E-10 and/or Hetzer, they wanted to test the value of a high-velocity gun on a low profile - high speed chassis. Using shortened extra T-34 hulls and the 85mm gun.........
The project did not last long with development of the SU-100.

Su-100 in a similar set up but with a standard length hull might not be such a bad thing? 

The Su-85, Su-122, and the Su-100 all shared a similar hull structure with the raised casemate section containing the crew compartment.  The unique look you have come up with by incorporating the gun into the hull without the raised superstructure definitely lowers the profile.  How much of a reduction in the fuel supply and ammunition capacity would result from the reduction in overall length of the T-34 for this version?

Ah ha! Shortening the T-34 hull threw me off! Great work! I enjoy a whiff better when the parts are hard to identify. Makes it all the more original and creative.
