Two tone green/Luftwaffe?

Do you have a link Daryl to give me a better idea of what you mean?

OK guys, my 'to do' list is as follows:

German Air Force in various Starfighter type schemes.

Royal Navy and Air Force.

More RAN camo scheme varieties.

Papua New Guinea

Polish Air Force

Brazilian Air Force

Japanese Air Force and Navy

Canadian Air Force and Navy

French Navy.

Israeli Air Force.

Plus I'm working-up an A-7E profile too!

There, that should keep me busy for a while!

I think they were called Lizard patterns. USAFE had a very nice green, darker green and dark grey pattern. Ideal for low level and night time ops in temperate environment. Stand out like a sore thumb out of the shade in the day anywhere else.

RAL 6003 Olivgrün and RAL 7021 Schwartzgrün on the Tornados, I believe.

Camo on these Skyhawks really breaks up aircraft lines.
Looks effective and looks cool  8)

Looking great! I especially like the 1997 RAN scheme.

Curious to see what all you'll come up with for Canadian schemes... everyone's done the old standard RCN scheme since Skyhawks were supposed to replace the Banshees, but later schemes could get pretty interesting!

Love the German Navy desert scheme. Reminds me of when the Germans deployed some of their fast attack craft to cover the Horn of Africa for the start of the Afghanistan campaign their crews wore their standard issue blue, grey naval working uniforms but with desert camo bush hats. Obviously the German Navy hadn't been big on sun protection until that time and the Germany Army helped them out with some wide brim hats.

Thanks. The Canadian Skyhawks should be fun! Lots of scope for unusual schemes and areas of operation. I may even have them helping the Germans in the Red Sea!

Beautiful.  Flown off RAN carriers similar to the upgraded Forrestal-class like the U.S.S. America or the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy?  I can't quite see the RAN going for nuclear-powered carriers.
