GB of first model you can remember building.
If can't find same kit try for one in same scale.  If not available, pick scale to your liking.

I second this one!

The “swap it around” GB. Take the shelf queen you’ve completely lost interest in and swap it on to someone else to finish. I specified “completely lost interest in" so that no one is upset when the new owner chooses to do something completely different with it. We have to keep the imagination engaged!

Does anyone have this kit? The glue unglued in my bathtub and the ship sunk!  Very poor workmanship by the 8 year old builder!  ;D

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

Am saddened to hear about sinking.  :(
Did have one back in the day of decades ago.

I have it! It's roughly 1/350 scale.

Back in the 60s, my dad built this ship for a friend who'd been in the Merchant Marines in WWII. He modified the kit slightly and only built half of the hull, deck and superstructure and set them into a picture frame. Actually looked pretty good.

Missed by this much GB - basically model one of the losing contenders to a competition.  E.g. a F-23 instead of F-22, F-32 instead of F-35 etc.

I like this idea, there are lots of options for both a simple OOB build and some interesting kit bashes.

The tankbusters GB. Anything that flys, rolls or swims across the water. Including other armored vehicles that had a main mission of shooting other tanks. Not quite sure how the navy would fit other than a SEAL team with Javelin missiles.

If I remember correctly, didn't a heavy cruiser or battlewagon take on a tank-led counter attack on D-Day or D+1?  ???

Problem solved on Navy LHA, LHD, LPH, and other "Gator Freighters" in the amphibious forces afloat by parking LAV-25s on the flight deck for defense of the ship which could include a TOW or Javelin for precision target servicing if required.  This was done to address the threat by small fast attack craft swarms.  So anything that is within engagement range of a Javelin is fair game.  The TOW if I recall is not able to shoot across open water due to guidance wire issues when there is contact with water.

What if a government actually followed the recommendations of a major review, good or bad, that was ignored in real life.
