From 2009.
Academy lower hull and E8 suspension. Tank Workshop upper hull.Tamiya turret. Verlinden applique armor. The dust cover on the mantlet is two part epoxy.

Love the subtle work on the camo. It must take a steady hand to pull that off as well as an artistic eye.

Impressive Sherman build.  Subtle camo really does work out perfect to enhance the bad ass look.   :)

This is a build very close to my own heart, as I think it's a practical, plausible Sherman variant for the end of the war that would have been a match for any tank on the battlefield.

Would like to see this passing over the Rhine on a Bailey Bridge or M2 treadway bridge.  I have seen a pic of the Pershing turret on a Sherman chassis.  I understand the turret ring diameter was the same.

If I am not mistaken.the M26,M4..M18.M10.and M36 all had a 69 inch diameter turret ring. I may end up stripping the paint off this,and redoing it. I noticed the vinyl AFV Club tracks broke on it.
