Scale Model Challenge, Veldhoven, Netherlands
« on: October 17, 2012, 02:33:35 AM »
Brought to my attention by Eric Reist in a topic he posted on the Missing Lynx forums with a couple of images of this event.

All that did was get my curiosity going and I had to see the rest of the contestant entries.  Using the link Eric had so kindly included resulted in more eye-watering excellence, a total of nineteen pages of images that you can view at this link:

Click on this rather large thumbnail or the html above to view the event images.

I am quite impressed with the action in the Sherman diorama in the thumbnail image.  Capturing a childhood moment with the young lad springing forth from the end of the gun tube is very convincing in execution and it certainly captures that one moment very well.  The lad under the water is also very well done.

All of the contest images are hosted at The Wargamer

That is modeling way above my pay grade.   ;D
Work in progress ::

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.
