New parts, new box art?  Wonder if they are including figures with this latest rebox effort?

Comment from AFV club re changes from earlier version:

"Not much, this is a World War II version (of course, this section also has some artillery to continue to serve after World War II), the previous is M115 is the configuration after World War II, there will be different places in the details."

Just one? I picked up a pair of the Panda kits.  Now I have to contemplate acquiring the AFV Club version just in case the parts count is greater ;)

I only have 6 Stryker's in the stash (5 variants) plus left-over parts from the High Mobility Battlefield Logistics Transport vehicle. 2 x ICV's, 1 x CV/TACP, 1 x Dragoon IFV, 1 x MGS, 1 x ESV. Probably need to buy another recce version, though. Pretty decent Armoured Infantry platoon combat team.

How many more, do you reckon, to have a company combat team? ??? ;)

Depends on the TO&E.

***edit to provide more information***

Since I had no clue as to what the numbers are for the Stryker family of vehicles operated by and organic to a typical Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) I did a little digging and found a link to a discussion forum where some numbers are given.  To preserve this topic and prevent going off on a tangent the information with link was sent to your eMail address.

A quick look at Wiki provided this link: Brigade Combat Team which is a bit light on numbers but gives you an overview of the SBCT if you scroll down to that portion of the page.

I thought it wise to look it up as I really had not given it much thought over the years.  My interests were more inclined towards the M113 family of vehicles but times have changed and the Stryker and other vehicles like it are now the favourite means of getting around nowadays.

Mr. AFV Club visiting IPMS-Seattle

We're going to have a guest at our club meeting this Saturday, 14-09-19

"Mr. AFV Club" is attending this Saturday!

Greetings All -

Member Pei Chi has informed me that he will be escorting the President of AFV Club to our club meeting
this Saturday.  Mr. Tserng will be in town visiting local museums before flying down to LA.

I thought it would be nice for him to see some of his company's products on display when he comes, so I am
inviting everyone to bring their completed AFV Club builds - if you want to.  I am not sure how long he can
stay, so I am guessing that these will go on a different table or tables than the normal show and tell stuff.

AFV Club specializes in armor kits, but they also produce many fine aircraft and other types of models in
their inventory.  Mr. Tserng has been supplying free models to reviewers for a few years now.  It would
be nice to show him what we've done (in person).  But this is entirely voluntary - I know how easy it is
to damage models in transit!

Thanks - and I'll see you all Saturday!

Eric
