Title: T34-122
Post by: Feldmarschall Zod on December 16, 2011, 09:29:32 AM
This is a 1/48 Hobby Boss kit of a t34-85 rearmed with a 122mm howitzer. The bed spring armor for defeating panzerfausts is home made. I built this a few years back. I figured a 122mm  barrel would be better suited for city fighting.

A much better infantry support weapon.  Makes bigger holes in walls and bunkers.

Thank you Frank. I used a metal food strainer. I just cut out the mesh portion, and flattened it out.

I've used this configuration when playing the World of Tanks.  HEAT rounds do wonders, but the gun was both inaccurate and slow-loading......  :yush:
