I saw that Sabre the first year it started flying the show circuits at the Airdrie Airshow (just north-east of Calgary). It flew with the Snowbirds the day I saw it.

The Sabre is probably my all time favorite jet aircraft, seen a few at museums but didn't think I'd ever see one flying. But now I've seen two, first one was in the UK at the September Duxford IWM airshow in 2002, they had the oldest Sabre flying, it's a F-86A. The Golden Hawk one I saw in 2009.

The Israeli Navy now have an Air Wing. They are equipped with the F-16IN "Flooded Falcon". Includes SONAR to located submersed objects.
