Sci-Fi frigate from some old comic book

This frigate came from quiet old comic series called "Funky Koval" which was originally published in 1983 and because of its many references and hidden in SciFi reality, criticism of communistic government (who was still reigned in Poland back then) it gained a cult status.
But coming back to the core of this topic, here are some reference images:

And here you can see scratch build model which still is "in progress" but in my opinion even at this point it looks astounding:

Reminiscent of the Valley Forge from "Silent Running"...650 Airfix Tiger tanks n'all..    I just hope he measured the doors before he attempts to move it.  ( Been there.. done that... !! )

As I have red somwhere, first photo of the model was made in club during meeting with authors of earlier mention comic series, so it's not as huge as it might looks like, or he just have wide eough doors ;)

as I recall yes and the interior of cockpit mainly came from "Blue Thunder" helicopter.
